Original Creature Design: Hopper vs. Spider

We have dedicated several years to developing this hopper sculpt, approximately 4 to 5 years since its inception. Initially, we sought copyright approval at Wonder Festival Japan under the name Kamen Rider Black (manga version). However, the application was rejected because Toei, the licensor, does not approve licenses for non-live action show characters.
We intended to reapply for this year's Wonder Festival, as the hopper creature makes a brief cameo in the show. Unfortunately, Toei has ceased approving applications starting from this summer's Wonder Festival.
Ultimately, we have decided to transform it into an original creature design kit by modifying some minor details of the hopper and incorporating the spider as a base. (Toei has never reviewed the sculpt.)
My concept for the sculpt is to depict bioengineered creatures, emphasising a clean and symmetrical design. We aim to demonstrate that the creature's design can be realised through practical special effects, such as actors in rubber suits or the use of robotics in special effects films, similar to the Predators or live-action Guyver. In fact, the pose of the Hopper was influenced by advice from The Shiflett Brothers when I joined their Patreon.
We plan to produced using industrial-grade 3D printers and cast with high-quality PU resin. It will be in 1/6 scale, with a total height of approximately 14 inches (34cm).
